William Bohack is an activist whose main goal is to help people recover from being hurt by big business. He was inspired by his mother Lois Hekker who always fought for the victims rights her whole life. After the BP Oil Spill, Bill helped people through his website SurvivetheSpill.com. Catholic Charities played a main role as they endeavored to assist people together that came through the website. The process evolved as people got sick from the dispersant Corexit, and he reached out to Erin Brockovich and she would help steer him in the right direction, helping 1000`s of people that got sick from the Oil Spill Clean Up. After meeting Erin in Louisiana it would ignite a fire in Mr.Bohack, as it helped him to discover his true calling. The Captains from Deadliest Catch would also be enrolled to help people through the website SurvivetheSpill.com
As the Oil Spill affects began to trickle through the economies of the Gulf Region it was suggested that Mr. Bohack follow the story and in so doing he created BPClaims.org. BPClaims.org`s main goal is to help as many people as possible get the help they need to recover. They have created The BP Claims Dream Team. The Team consists of different Law Firms, Claims Adjusters and Forensic Accountants. The claims process has certain niches in it. There are individual claims, business claims, medical claims and property claims. Different groups of the Dream team are more experienced with certain types of claims. BPClaims.org objective is to much the Claimant with a member of the Team that has the most experience with their type of claim. This has proved very beneficial to claimants that have utilized the resources of the BPClaims.org Team. They have gotten paid faster and are with firms that have vast experience with their types of claims, and that pays dividends.
William Bohack has now taken on large pharmaceutical companies for dispensing bad drugs that were not thoroughly researched or that all the dangerous side effects were not revealed in the name of profit over people. He is also working in conjunction with several non-profit groups and charitable organizations to better help people after natural disasters.
